My name is Courtney and I'm from San Francisco but currently living in Honolulu with my crazy brood, which includes my husband, Alika, and our 3 boys - Kainoa (10), Cameron (8) and Kea (5). We're like the Jackson 5, but funnier - we're the Mattson 5.

 

After graduating from UCLA, I got married, bought a house in the East Bay and in the blink of an eye, had 2 kids. With the recession, we packed up the house to become slumlords, and sailed across the ocean blue to live in my husband's hometown of Nu'uanu on the island of O'ahu. With the birth of our 3rd son, we haven't looked back and try to do this parent thing every day, laughing and crying (sometimes at the same time) all the way.
